Margot H Liggett was born and raised here in Elizabeth City, NC and is a graduate of the Northeastern band class of 75. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 24 years and is now retired from the Paquotank County Health Dept. She married a former Chief Petty Officer of the United States Coast Guard in 1979 and has two children, Lance, a 2004 graduate of Northeastern and Alissa, a rising sophomore flute and bassoon player in the band.      Mrs. Liggett offers her free time as the secretary of the band.
